Belarusian Resources State Association was established in accord with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 401 dd. October 7, 1996 with intent to raise effectiveness of material resources wholesale trade system, ensuring delivery of goods for state needs of the organizations of the Republic.

Belarusian Resources State Association consists of 40 organizations.

One of the main activity lines of the Belarusian Resources State Association is implementation of a state policy in the field of resource saving, use of secondary material resources based on introduction of modern technologies.

In pursuance of decisions of the Government of the Republic of Belarus Belarusian Resources State Association organizes tenders for goods for budget organizations, together with companies members of the association carries out work on extract and supply of wastepaper and other types of secondary material resources for state needs, coordinates supply of ferrous metals, asbestos, bearings.

For advertising purposes of new commodity samples and introduction of goods produced by domestic commodity producers into foreign markets a commodity distribution network was created by the Association abroad. On the territory of the Association the Republican Exhibition Complex is disposed. Production of organizations of the Republic is represented in its exposition halls and an exhibition of modern resource saving technologies is situated there.
